Sparks 3 - 1 Cheam 1s (H)

We all had something to prove in the game against Cheam but mostly that we were the stronger team and that we weren’t going to be pushed off the ball this time. We were off to a great start with a quick goal from Charlotte Gallagher to settle any nerves about the game. Then another beautiful goal from Mana Murase to bring it up to 2-0.

Unfortunately Cheam managed to muscle one through and bring it up to 2-1 before half time. In the second half it was Lisa Clarke who led the charge and scored our third goal. This effort put extra encouragement into the team where we continually dominated possession for the rest of the game.
