B2H: Halloween Training & October Player of the Month
By Roger Hitch
B2H Halloween Training & Hat Party
On Monday the Back to Hockey group celebrated Halloween with a Halloween Hat Party in the bar after our Halloween costume wearing training session. There were a number of players who wore costumes or face masks throughout the session, adding a fun and amusing element to the night. Notably were Kit Yunes with a devil’s face mask (who also won the ‘best costume’ competition), Roger Hitch with a simple skeleton costume and Emma Hawksley with a rather more attractive skeleton costume! Many players gathered in the bar afterwards to join in the group photo wearing Halloween headbands that B2H had bought for the occasion or ones of their own. A good time was had by all and we are grateful for the attendance at the gathering, as often players have to get straight back to their families, but many joined in to support this social event, one of many that Emma has planned for the year.
New B2H 'Player of the Month Award' Launched
Back-to-Hockey has launched its ‘Player of the Month’ award where we recognise a special achievement which could be a progress in development, an amazing goal or an outstanding Game Play performance. The award is either a Beanie Hat or a Coffee Mug, both with special B2H embroidery or print. The first ever B2H POM was awarded for the month of October 2024 and with congratulations, was presented to new member Morven Adams, by B2H Manger Roger Hitch at our Halloween training session, for an outstanding Saturday Game Play session.
