First goal: short corner, Helen strikes from the top and the ball creeps between the post and the keeper's foot.
Second goal: Helen again! Not sure on the details of this one but a goal's a goal!
Third goal: Tarryn was in the right place at the right time to pick the ball in the D and aim at the far corner!
This was all the excitement that happened in the first half.
The rest of the game there were some lovely runs coming up the side from Amber and Aoife with some silky skills in the middle from Thea and Lauren.
A great team performance and a lovely sunny day on the hockey pitch to earn a 3-0 win!
POM votes - Helen for her goals, birthday girl Thea for her skills in the middle and Aoife for her super passes from the back!
DOD only had one clear winner …. Lauren for competing with the umpire on fashioning an interesting top. At least she is now prepared for home and away games with just one top!
