Ladies 5s 3 - 0 Richmond 2s (A)

The fabulous 5s started strong against Richmond - despite only 1/2 of the pitch being watered, we set off rather quickly. Lots of bouncy balls later and some outstanding play in the middle from Jess and Jen we worked the ball upfield with Ruth smashing a hit into the back of the goal.
We continued playing our game with me getting quite adventurous up the pitch for once and ended off the first half with Rosina scoring after Charlotte’s short corner hit.
Starting the second half we were feeling stronger after some much needed jelly babies provided again finally by Emily who is back in full health.
We played pretty much completely in the opposition’s half the entire second half with Charlotte pushing Mia back into defence due to boredom, which personally I think is grounds for DOD but apparently being ‘hungover’ is more of a problem.
Now the final goal of the game was a beauty with Emma finally showing off her drag flick, which is why I voted her for MOM even though I’m sure she threw me under the bus and voted me DOD.
That wraps up the game with me being voted MOM and DOD, quite impressive if you ask me.
