Four hours later (bit dramatic), and we had arrived in Exeter.
Unfortunately, we were a few players down (14) but that didn’t dampen our spirits.
Cracking start from Surbiton, with some threatening attacks that ISCA were slow to deal with.
Keen to get ahead, ISCA were clinical with a short corner, putting them 1-0 ahead at the end of the first quarter.
Second half started and Surbiton were much the dominant side.
A lot of cards were given to us, would love to be told why.
Keeper Amber was taken off so Surbiton could mount even more pressure.
Eventually, Surbiton got two short corners but it was too little too late, and ISCA came away with the win.
