Ladies 2s Take Cup Win Against Barnes

Ladies 2s 3 – 0 Barnes 1s

Amidst the freezing temperatures, wind and rain the L2s recorded a convincing win against Barnes in the Cup, putting us through to the next round.

The match started well with Taz running the length of the field and launching the ball into the bottom left. We defended well and Tess made some excellent saves keeping us in the lead.

The second goal came from me where I turned and hit the ball, passing the keeper on her inside. The third and final goal came from my cross across the goal for Hannah D to slap in on the far post.

A real team effort led to a great win even if all our hands were very numb by the end!
