Wimbledon Come Back to Beat Jokers

Jokers 2 – 3 Wimbledon Masters

Having played some thrilling hockey this season, the Jokers were brought down to earth with a bump by Wimbledon. Surbiton raced into a 2-0 lead and dominated the first half but Wimbledon summoned the spirit of their 80s football forbears, relentlessly shelling the Jokers goal with long balls on a lively pitch. An off day ensued and anyone of a certain vintage will understand the game fully when I say that the Crazy Gang beat the Culture Club again. Must do better next Saturday.
