Former Club Junior Izzy Petter Set for Surbiton Return

Surbiton HC is pleased to confirm that double GB Olympian Izzy Petter will return to Sugden Road next season following a season with German club Harvestehude THC.
A former junior at the club, this will be Izzy’s third stint at Surbiton following playing for Loughborough Students during her university studies before returning for three years between 2022 and 2025. She has also been to two Olympics (winning bronze in Tokyo) as well as Commonwealth Gold with England in Birmingham.
Izzy says, “I’m really excited to be back at Surbiton after an amazing experience playing in the Bundesliga for HTHC. I’m really looking forward to being back with the girls and build on their incredible season just gone by defending the title and having success at EHL.”
W1 Head Coach Dave Beckett is pleased to see Izzy return to Surbiton colours: “Izzy is of course a familiar face and we know the quality she possesses. Her experience in Germany will no doubt stand her in good stead to make an impact for us, and we can’t wait to see her flourish further this season.”
