Club Preview: 18th & 19th April 2026

We've got a huge weekend ahead at the club...
There are FOUR Premier Division matches to look forward to as Phase 3 begins, with both first teams in action twice at Sugden Road. The W1 take on Reading at 14:00 on Saturday afternoon, followed by the M1 against Holcombe at 16:30. Sunday's pushback times are the same, with the W1 hosting Loughborough Students and the M1 playing Cardiff & Met.
Sunday also includes the Paddy Tripp Mixed Memorial Match (11:30am) and the annual 1874/Old Members Lunch from 13:30, which will include speeches and the presentation of the Tripp Cup as well as a delicious lunch. Hugh's BBQ will be fired up throughout Sunday afternoon for others who may want to purchase food on the day.
Three cup fixtures also take place, with the SHC Originals hosting Warrington at 14:30 on Saturday and our Men's O35s travelling to Harleston Magpies for the Semi Final of the Cup. Sunday morning sees our SHC Snails in action early in the day with a 9:45am pushback against Isle of Man WO45s in the Semi Final of the WO45s Vase.
