England U21 Player Max Anderson Signs for Surbiton

We are pleased to announce that Max Anderson will join SHC for the new season.
Currently training towards the Under 21 European Championships with England, new addition Max is fast and direct in attack, and a tough and skilful defender. He already has Premier Division experience following his time playing at the University of Nottingham and will add further strength and depth to Surbiton’s M1 side.
Coach Barry Middleton says, “Max is super quick, smart and plays with real intensity. He’s already an impactful player and I’m looking forward to helping him further develop his game at SHC.”
Max is excited for the new challenge: “I am thrilled to be joining such a prestigious club as Surbiton HC for the coming season. The club is steeped in a history of success and provides a great opportunity for me to grow as a player with the new full-time performance programme. I am eager to get going alongside world class teammates and coach in Barry Middleton.”
