Big Name Coaches To Lead Summer Masterclasses

We are delighted to offer the popular SHC Masterclasses once again for Summer 2024. These will take place on Monday 19th, Tuesday 20th and Friday 23rd August.

Masterclasses offer a unique opportunity to be coached by some of the highest achieving coaches and players in the country. 

Cost: £22 for 90 minutes. With low player:coach ratios, masterclasses represent excellent value for money.

Some of our big names will be coaching on this summer's masterclasses:

• Barry Middleton - SHC's new Men's First Team coach. Barry is one of the highest achieving GB Men's players of all time, having won 432 international caps, competed at four Olympics and four World Cups, and captained England to the European championship title.
• Nick Nurse - a new signing to our Men’s 1s team, Nick is a former GB Elite Development Programme and England U21 player. He brings his formidable midfield and defending skills to our coaching team.
• Erica Sanders - a prolific goal scorer, we are welcoming former England & GB international Eri back to the SHC Women’s 1s after three seasons in the Dutch Hoofdklasse.
• Jake Payton - one of GB’s rising young stars, Jake has joined the SHC Men’s 1s for the new season. A skilful attacking midfielder, Jake will also lends be part of the SHC coaching team.
• Frankie Bryant - Director of Hockey for SHC Juniors. Players can benefit from Frankie’s years of coaching experience to hone their skills.
