Introducing new First Team Masterclass Coaches
In addition to our regular First Team Internationals, we are delighted to introduce some new members of the masterclass coaching team.
Martha Taylor
One of the most exciting young talents in the UK, Martha is one of our new signings for the season. A player we have kept track of since her junior years we are privileged to have her at Surbiton! A highly skilled midfielder and already with eight senior caps to her name Martha has so much to pass onto our junior players.
Conor Williamson
Conor is an ex Surbiton junior player and first sprung to our attention on one of our camps when he converted a diving reverse stick at eight years old! He is also reigning England Hockey Men’s Junior Performance Player and we have welcomed him back from Nottingham University for the new season. Conor also recently made his full international debut against Spain and achieved a European Silver Medal playing a key part in England Hockey’s successful campaign.
Sabbie Heesh
England’s number 1 GK! Sabbie has 33 combined international caps and has been Surbiton’s number one for the past few years. With lightning fast reactions Sabbie has been instrumental in the success of the Surbiton W1s’ success over recent seasons. It is great to have such a role model to pass on her knowledge to our young GKs.
