Club Development Update: July 2022

It has been exciting to see considerable progress made with the club’s development plan in recent weeks.
Pitches
We are confident that both regular pitches and the new practice area will all be up and running by the start of the new season. Work is progressing well on Pitch 1, with the carpet being laid next week! Pitch 2 has now been in use for several weeks, with great reports about the new surface from those who have played and trained on there. It was great to see former Club Captain Mark Waller score the first competitive goal on P2 in a Men’s O50s match a couple of weeks ago.
Planning Permission
We are also pleased that planning permission has now been granted for updates to the car park and spectator bank. Work on these areas will take place as part of the next stage of the development.
