EHL Cup 2021: SHC First Teams Back in Europe

Surbiton L1 and M1 now know which European clubs they will face in their respective EHL events in the autumn.
Each team is set to play two games, with EHL ranking points available based on results. The women’s EHL Cup 2021 takes place at UHC Hamburg in Germany, while Belgian club KHC Dragons will host the men’s KO16 event.
The women’s competition will take place in the first weekend of October. Seedings are based on previous seasons, meaning Surbiton are second-ranked behind host club UHC Hamburg. The L1s will take on Irish side Pegasus before playing out their classification match the following day.
Surbiton M1 have a tough draw in the KO16 round, coming up against home side KHC Dragons. Fellow English club Hampstead & Westminster are also due to play Germany’s Mannheimer HC. The winners of KO16 matches will go on to complete KO8 matches, while the losers each play out a ranking match.
