Colts Online Hockey Programme: Jan-Feb 2021

We are pleased to announce that the coaches have put together a comprehensive online programme that will operate until February half term.

Look out for emails with sign up details and Zoom links from your coaches for each session. All sessions, with the exception of specialised S&C sessions, are part of our regular season offering and are covered by your fees. All sessions are optional.

Free Sessions

All sessions will be around 40 minutes in duration

Weeknight & Sundays (for some age groups)

Sessions will include: stick and ball skills, tactics, video analysis for some age groups, fun quizzes etc

Sessions led by Ore Ogunlana (Men’s 1 GK & ex-SHC Colt)

No need to wear kit! Sessions include goalkeeper movements and S&C sessions to improve strength and reaction time

Designed specifically for SHC juniors by Nathan Bell @ Higher Level Performance, these sessions incorporate movements and exercises to enhance hockey players’ robustness and agility.

Demonstrated by Tim Nurse (Men's 1s player & Colts coach) & Issy Carey (Ladies 2s player & Colts coach)

These sessions are suitable for players aged 9-18; supervision for younger children is recommended. Please see participation guidance notes on booking site.

Specialist Strength & Conditioning Group Sessions (£)

Sessions run on Tues / Wed / Thurs / Saturday. There will be 16 sessions in total and you can attend as many sessions as you like over the 4 week period!

£40 for 4 week programme, commenced Tuesday 19th January (runs until 13th February)

Guidance for taking part in all online sessions

  • Sessions should be carried out in a communal area and should be in view of parents / guardians
  • Make sure the area is free from obstacles and that children have parental permission to perform hockey exercises indoors.
  • Video sharing is optional.
