Clubhouse Corner: 9th April 2021

The latest from Ann & the clubhouse team...
Nearly there folks! It was great to see so many of you at the club last week and we are looking forward to reopening the bar next week.
New opening times from 12th April:
- Monday - Thursday: 5pm – 11.30pm
- Friday: 3pm – 11.30pm
- Saturday: 11am – 11.30pm
- Sunday: 1pm – 10.30pm (later if requested in advance)
- Tea Hut: Sunday 8.30am – 1.30pm
We have to offer table service only so the bar area will remain locked except for staff access. In order to avoid a post-training rush I suggest orders are placed and paid for before you train. This will mean they can be at your table when you’re ready. Still a maximum of groups of 6 (or 2 households) at a table and masks in the clubhouse, please. As we are now in British Summertime there is no heater in the marquee so you may want to bring jumpers, coat, hat, scarf, gloves!
Finally we are still after a couple of volunteers to decorate the Men’s changing rooms and still have a couple of vacancies for bar staff and a Clubhouse Assistant. Please let me know if you are interested as they will now be advertised more widely.
Once the weather is consistently a bit better we are looking to bring the dart boards out and also looking at the possibilities of trialling a summer evening menu. Any thoughts are, as ever, welcome.
I look forward to confirming the return of match teas in time for 17th April.
