Match Teas this Week
While last Saturday was the final one of the year for the chefs, we have four games this Saturday so will lay on an all day breakfast for those teams who are playing as follows:
- 1pm: B2H
- 2.30pm: Vintage vs Grandmasters
- 4pm: M4 vs London Edwardians
- 5pm: Cobras vs Magnets
Christmas Closing Times
We will be closed from Thursday 23rd – Friday 31st December inclusive
On New Year’s Day we are open from 1pm – 7pm. Come and support the traditional Vets New Year’s Day games from 2pm!
Last Weekend’s Cocktail Party
Thank you to all who came to the Cocktail Party. It was, by design, a smaller event than in previous years but I think, given the current nervousness of large gatherings it was the right decision and with welcome canapés & cocktails everyone was truly spoilt. Thanks to DJ Lee for (nearly) sticking to the timings, we look forward to having him back for some more events next year.

Coming Up in 2022
SHC QUIZ: The first social event of the New Year will be Friday 7th January when the SHC Quiz Night returns!
MEMBERSHIP CARDS: We are excited to bring in the next stage of our EPOS system which is the membership cards, these can be preloaded and then used to take advantage of members discounts. We will start rolling these out in January to a small group so we can make sure there are no glitches, if you would like to be one of the first please let me know. All the data will be taken from Teamo and loaded onto our system so it does not involve any third parties holding personal information.
And finally...
Many of you will already know my time as a part-timer at the club has come to an end and I am really pleased to say that on 1st December I became your full time humble servant. There are exciting times ahead and I look forward to developing the bar and clubhouse offering as well as working towards the proposed refurbishments.
A huge thank you to the team behind the scenes, they are some of the hardest working people I have met with such dedication to the club and also to my clubhouse team that have continued to support me and go above and beyond in many instances. If I don’t get a chance to see you before the big Ho-Ho I wish you all the happiest of Christmases and a healthy and fun 2022. Thank you all for your continued support!
