A blustery Saturday proved tricky when keeping salad on a plate but I think most of it made it to the tables and the BBQ chicken proved a huge success as ever.
It was a relatively quiet day on the bar although takings were seriously bolstered by the St Georges Hospital Medical School match!
The introduction of music proved a huge hit, even if some of it was decidedly suspect! I want to put a playlist together so get your thinking caps on and let me have 12 songs per team - send your requests to me at email@example.com

This Saturday is FA Cup Final day and we are hoping to show it in the marquee. Kick off is 5.15pm. Whilst there will be as much seating as possible in the marquee we will be reserving tables so please let me know if you would like a space. There are a few socially distanced socials also on the cards so it should be another great day.
Some of you may have seen the pizza oven that we have experimented with and whilst it is very cute it we’ve decided that it would not cope with the demands we are expecting... but fear not, a big daddy version is on the way and we will be starting pizzas from next week. Having sourced (not sauced) a delicious sour dough base we expect them to be a huge hit especially at the ridiculously low price of £6.50. The aim is to get cooking from next week on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights from 6.30 – 9pm. We will see how that goes and then look to introduce on Saturday evenings & Sunday afternoons. To make sure you get a pizza the action pre order before your summer league games. Menu will be posted
As you all know we have limited space in the bar and despite being able to open up inside we will be keeping the marquee with table service going for the foreseeable future. If you wish to book a table inside please drop me a line or speak to the bar staff.
Ed will be leaving us at the end of May to start an internship so we have a vacancy on the bar. Shifts are Tuesday / Wednesday & Thursday 5pm – 11.30 and Friday 3pm – 11.30am with additional weekend shifts as required. Rate of pay is dependent on age & experience.
