Promotions for M2, M3, Cobras & Mongooses

More fantastic news for the club as the South League have announced confirmed league positions for the 2019/20 season.
Promotions have now been confirmed for our Men’s 2s, Men’s 3s, Cobras and Mongooses to add to the league wins and/or promotions we’ve already had confirmed for our Men’s 1s and five teams in the ladies section.
Our Men’s 2s had a great season in the South Premier Division 2 West, topping the table by three points, winning 15 games out of 21 and comfortably the best goal difference in the division. The M2 will play in the South Prem Division 1 in the 2020/21 season. Congratulations to the whole squad on such a successful campaign.
Our Men’s 3s also enjoyed a fantastic season in Surrey/Hampshire Division 1. 17 wins from 21 games and a three point cushion at the top of the league means the boys will be promoted into the South Premier Division 2 West next season. Well done to the Men’s 3s!
The SHC Cobras topped the table in the Surrey Open Hockey League Division 3, winning 14 out of 16 matches, scoring 63 and conceding just 12 along the way. A brilliant campaign for the Cobras capped with promotion to SOHL Division 2 – it’s also great to see so many Back 2 Hockey graduates part the team’s ongoing success. Congratulations guys!
2019/20 was our Mongooses’ debut season and what a season it was! The team stormed to the top of the league, leading by ten points and finishing with a goal difference twenty superior to their closest rival. A huge well done to everyone involved and we look forward to seeing more success as you move up into SOHL for your second season in 2020/21.
