One Big Team: How To Help

19th March 2020

By Surbiton HC

Please consider getting involved in our 'One Big Team' initiative to provide help and support for those who may need it during the fight against coronavirus.

If you’re in a lower risk group, can you do anything to help any of our elderly / more vulnerable club members who may be lonely or struggling to go about their daily lives?

This might be anything from doing some shopping for someone who can’t leave home to giving someone a phone call to check in on them.

If you can help, or if we can help you or someone you know, please get in touch!

We are One Big Team

Thank you to those who have already been in contact about our One Big Team initiative. We are currently working to create a network of Surbiton HC members and associates who may be looking for help now, or in the coming weeks and will let you know once we have more information available.

In the meantime, please do check out the following websites for some information about other organisations who are currently gathering volunteers.

Donating to or volunteering for a local food bank is also a great way to help and is likely to make a real and immediate difference to many families who rely on school meals
