Junior ‘Bring a Friend’ Day: 5 Reasons to Sign Up

7th July 2020

By Surbiton HC

With 5 days to go until our ‘Bring a Friend’ Day, here are 5 reasons your kids should join in with the fun…

Our 'Bring a Friend' Taster Day is taking place this Sunday 12th July, with sessions for U8 Mixed, U10 Girls & Boys, U12 Girls & Boys

Book here

1. A great hockey experience
Our fantastic coaches will lead a fun, skills-based session designed to give kids a taste of our exciting sport. Hockey is a sport for all – and our experienced coaches know how to inspire and challenge children of all ages and abilities in a safe, supportive environment.

2. Experience our friendly club
Come along to the ‘Bring a Friend’ Day and you’ll arrive to a warm welcome and a complimentary drink (for kids who play and parents who watch!). While the clubhouse remains closed we have a large grassy area, under cover seating, a porch bar and club representatives on hand to answer any questions you may have.

3. Never played hockey before? This is a great chance to have a go before the new season
Our Colts programme is one of the biggest and best in the country and we have a proven track record of delivering brilliant hockey coaching for players from U7/U8 upwards. We’d love to welcome your child to Surbiton for a fun and exciting introduction to the game.

4. Already a member of SHC? Bring a friend along and show them what hockey is all about!
We have spaces in our Colts section for next season… If your children have friends who have already expressed an interest in SHC this is the perfect way for them to get a taste of the club and show them why your kids are already hockey mad!

5. It’s free!

Please note, having filled the first session for Mixed U8, we have now added an additional session at 1pm for any U8s who missed out! You can book via this page
