Tony Smith Tournament a Great Success
The 2019 edition of the club's annual Tony Smith tournament was held at Sugden Road all day on Sunday.
We welcomed 7-aside teams from 14 clubs, with sides travelling from as far afield as Kent and Cheltenham.
All proceeds from the day, including a cake sale, raffle and ‘Hardest Hit’ competition will go to our club charities - including Cardiac Risk in the Young and the Ben Williams Trust. We have raised a significant amount of money for these amazing causes.
“Thank you so much for organising such a fantastic tournament yesterday. It was really well organised and the hospitality was great.”

The tournament is yearly event in memory of former Colts Director Tony Smith. We are grateful to Tony's wife Jean for coming down to the club to present medals (tournament finalists are listed below).
Huge thanks must also go to tournament organiser Liselle Carey and her fantastic team of volunteers, including many parents and a number of current SHC Colts who play for the club at U16 and U18 level but have previously taken part in the tournament themselves.
