Successful Indoor Weekend For U16s

Congratulations go to our Girls U16 and Boys U16 teams who won their South Finals at the weekend, securing qualification for their respective 2020 National Indoor Finals.

The Under 16 Girls side played in Rickmansworth and took three victories in the group stage. Our girls then beat Marlow HC 3-2 on penalty strokes in the semi final and took a 3-1 victory over East Grinstead in the final.

The Under 16 Boys travelled to Canterbury for their competition and having progressed to the semi final stage they beat Bromley and Beckenham 2-1 in the semi final. A close fought final against local favourites Canterbury finished 3-2 to Surbiton.

The Under 18 Boys just missed out on the semi finals of their South tournament, winning three games but finishing third in their group of five on goal difference.

The indoor action continues for our Colts teams soon after Christmas, with seven sides from U10 to U16 entered into the Copper Box Indoor Tournament. For more information about indoor programmes for our junior players, please click here
