Nick Evans (1971 - 2019)

It was with great sadness that we heard of the passing of Nick Evans following a period of illness. Nick’s funeral took place in St Andrew’s Church, Naughton, Gloucestershire last Thursday.

Nick initially came to Surbiton as a ‘Colts Parent’ but he soon immersed himself in club life as a volunteer in a variety of roles. He helped greatly with the Colts tour to Holland and he was always on hand to umpire a game or stand in as a coach on a Sunday morning.

His immense enthusiasm and cheerful manner were always noticeable and this was most evident when he did a fantastic job as Transport Manager during the memorable Women’s EHCC weekend hosted at the club in May 2018.

We extend our sincere sympathies to his wife Charlotte and his daughter Tabitha at this difficult time.
