New Qualified Umpires After Course at SHC

It was great to see an enthusiastic gathering at SHC at 9am on Sunday morning for our latest umpiring course at the club,

Five colts and four senior members attended, as well as 15 people from other clubs as far afield as Sevenoaks. Congratulations to everyone for completing the course successfully.

Thanks to Dion Oliver for leading the course and Andy Parker for assisting.

Karen Reeves and Jess Tallent do a great job of organising our umpires for Saturday matches. Whether you are now qualified or you’d like to umpire regardless, please contact them if you want to support the club with your whistle.

We are aware that a number of people missed out this weekend after the course filled up. Please email Ian Wyatt if you were unable to take part so that we can assess interest for putting on another course after Christmas. If you have a preference for a Sunday or an evening course (this would run from 7.30-10pm over two weekday evenings) please also state this in your message.
