Surbiton marched into this weekend’s clash with Southgate determined.
The opening goal was a masterclass in teamwork and timing. Katie Southorn produced a wonderful baseline carry, delivering straight to Liselot for the perfectly placed first time finish across goal.
The second half was more scrappy after a strong first 35 minutes, however Surbiton kept the clean sheet, with Jem making excellent saves.
Monica got POM for her relentless tackling and amazing distribution, with an epic goal from a short corner to round off her amazing performance.
A special mention to Will for his encouraging shouting…
In the end, Surbiton walked away with a clean sheet and three points.
