B2H 7s Tournament Round 2: The Competition Heats Up

Saturday saw another successful Back 2 Hockey 7s tournament played in great spirits. The teams are really starting to click now and there were some slick passing moves on display that must have felt as smooth as they looked!
The Griffins, Dragons and Sirins battled it out across four games each, evenly matched and with enthusiastic participation from players across all three B2H levels.
Some had more success cracking our goalie obstacle rebound board than others, and that saw the Dragons pull ahead this week, leaving Sirins and Griffins tied in second place. There will no doubt be some lifting practice at Monday night training sessions going forwards!
The standout goal of the tournament gets a special mention – Peter B’s flick from the edge of the D in to the far side netting was a masterclass in how to score with the ‘no goalie’ sideboard/side netting only rules in place.
