Girls U14 Eagles 3 - 0 Wayfarers GU14 A (A)
By Mark Rogers
The Wayfarers knew it would be a hard afternoon when their from-the-whistle attack was repulsed by Bella's devastating 40m aerial.
That proved to be the case eight minutes later when they went 1-0 down to a classic from the Eagles playbook. Dispossessing the attacker on her own 22, Emily launched a ruthless counterattack up the Eagles right flank. Gunshot passing between Nancy and Erin led to a driving Tileena, pistons-a-pumping, scything through the powerless Wayfarers' defence and culminating in a Leyli piledriver.
The backboard explosion reverberated around West London. Proving that they're no one trick pony, the Eagles dazzled on the left flank in the second half with stickcraft wizardry from Izzy and EGS sealing the 3-0 league win.
