First goal: taking the ball at waist height Jen played a lovely cricket shot for the opening goal.
Second goal: with a large dose of deception the ball was played to the P spot by Jen, to be deflected by Ruth to Claire, slapping in between the keeper’s legs.
Third goal: after some lovely build up play, the ball fell to Emma in open play who placed it in the bottom right corner with casual ease.
Fourth goal: setting a tight press on their left, Ruth intercepted to slip the ball to Emma who squared it to Jen, who took a touch and lifted into right hand corner.
With two minutes left we got a green card and THD got another generous short corner and finally scored one after some pinball in front of goal. Frustrating not to keep a clean sheet given how well we defended for most of the game.
Beautiful hockey for a majority, making connections all around the pitch, marking well and finishing with style.
