Ladies 6s 3 – 3 Purley Walcountians L1s

After a heartbreaking loss last week, breaking our unbeaten streak, we were keen to get back to winning ways. 

We started strongly looking to dominate the game but quickly conceded a goal and teamed with (to put it politely) the opposition’s umpire not being quite on our side, we were rattled. 

3-1 down at half time but after an inspiring team talk from Spuggie we were ready to fight back. Despite three green cards we managed to level 3-3 at full time. 

A well deserved POM for Jen Seseman for her hat trick and my writing this match report is simply bullying just because I chose to support my cousin and the Ladies 1s instead of having teas...
