GB Women's Games Live on BBC iPlayer this Weekend

The GB women will play their first international opposition of 2021 with a three-game uncapped series against Ireland in Belfast this weekend.

Current Surbiton players Sarah Evans, Giselle Ansley, Sabbie Heesh and Hannah Martin will be in action for Great Britain, while Emily Defroand misses out through injury. This will mark Giselle’s first game in GB colours since late 2019 after a long spell on the sidelines after Achilles surgery. We wish all four SHC stars the best of luck for the series.

• All three matches will be broadcast live on the BBC Sport NI website, BBC iPlayer and the FIH’s Watch Hockey app:
  • Saturday 13^th March: Ireland v Great Britain, 2pm GMT 
  • Sunday 14^th March: Ireland v Great Britain, 5pm GMT 
  • Tuesday 16^th March: Ireland v Great Britain, 3pm GMT
