ENGLAND MEN FINISH FOUR NATIONS CAMPAIGN WITH MALAYSIA DRAW

England Men finished their Four Nations Campaign in Barcelona with a 3-3 draw against Malaysia, the point ensuring Malaysia won the tournament.
Malaysia’s penalty corner routine earned them a two goal lead in the first nine minutes, Razie Rahim converting in the third minute and Fitri Saari doubling the lead.
Sam Ward pulled a goal back in the 24th minute, again from a penalty corner, before Chris Griffiths equalised in the 34th minute with the first goal in the match from open play.
With six minutes to play, Tengku Tajuddin restored Malaysia’s lead from open play but three minutes later Phil Roper levelled from a penalty corner to earn England their second 3-3 draw of the tournament.
Surbiton’s Harry Gibson replaced George Pinner in goal at the start of the third quarter whilst Tom Sorsby and Zach Wallace both came on as fifth minute substitutes.
