Surbiton Women start their 2026 Super 6s Premier Division campaign this weekend when they travel to Repton School with the aim of finishing in the top four and qualifying for the Finals Day at Derby Arena on 1 February, for the third season running.
Surbiton have finished as runners-up to East Grinstead on their previous two visits to Derby, 6-1 in 2024 and 6-3 in 2025, but will be hoping to make it third time lucky and become Super 6s champions for the first time in their history.
The competition can be followed in real time over both weekends at the England Hockey Altius website here
Surbiton meet Beeston, who were promoted as runners-up from Division One last season, in their first match at 1430 on Saturday and play Holcombe in the last match of the day at 1830.
On Sunday, Surbiton face East Grinstead in a rematch of the last two seasons' finals at 1000 and complete their first weekend at 1500 against Sutton Coldfield.
On the second weekend (17-18 February) Surbiton will take on Clifton Robinsons who were Division One champions in 2025, Harleston Magpies, Buckingham and Slough.
Whilst the top four teams will qualify for the Finals Day semi-finals with first playing fourth and second playing third, the bottom two teams will be relegated to Division One.
The Women's Division One tournament starts at Nottingham Trent University this weekend and continues at Canterbury next weekend and Division Two North takes place at Bradford at the same time that Division Two South is held at Canterbury with both Division Two tournaments scheduled to finish this weekend, with the top three teams from each region qualifying for Division Two National which will take place at Telford on 24-25 January.
