SHC Camps Relaunched from Feb Half Term 2026!

We are excited to have relaunched SHC Camps, with brand new hockey content plus optional extras such as lunches and early dropoff/late pick up now available. Read on for more about what to expect and why you should try out our new camps this February half term and beyond!
What's new?
There are 3 main categories for the new camps:
Future Stars Hockey Camps for Years 1-6: Available as full-day or half-day options – designed to be fun, active, and engaging from start to finish.
Next Gen Hockey Camps for Years 7-9: Offering a more technical and tactical hockey experience for those ready to take their game to the next level. Camps are available as full-day or half-day options - with a more technical focus during the morning and game play and tactics in the afternoon.
Performance Camps for Years 7-9 & Years 10-13: For players who have a performance mindset and are committed to taking their game to the next level. Different themed camps will run during each school holiday

More Information on New SHC Camps
Available as full-day or half-day options – designed to be fun, active, and engaging from start to finish.
Our main aim is simple: for your child to have fun while enjoying a full day of varied activities.
Throughout the camp, players will:
- Learn the fundamentals of hockey in a fun, supportive environment
- Improve their hockey skills, agility and overall physical development
- Take part in multi-sport agility games to build coordination and movement
- Enjoy conditioned hockey games that encourage decision-making and teamwork
Every camp also includes internal team competitions, where players work together, challenge themselves, and compete for fun prizes - all designed to boost confidence and enjoyment.
Whether your child is new to hockey or already loves the game, Future Stars Camps offer an action-packed experience that keeps them active, learning and smiling all day long.
No need to worry about the weather - our camps run no matter what! If conditions are too extreme for being outside, we switch to our indoor hockey plan to keep our Future Stars attendees active, engaged and enjoying themselves.
Designed specifically for older players in Years 7–9, offering a more technical and tactical hockey experience for those ready to take their game to the next level. Camps are available as full-day or half-day options - with a more technical focus during the morning and game play and tactics in the afternoon.
The Next Gen programme places a strong emphasis on:
- Advanced hockey skills and techniques
- Tactical awareness, positioning and decision-making
- A clear understanding and application of hockey rules in game situations
- Conditioned games that reflect real match scenarios
Alongside hockey-specific training, players will also take part in:
- Fitness and agility sessions tailored to growing athletes
- Injury prevention activities, focusing on movement quality, balance and strength
- Multi-activity drills designed to support long-term athletic development
Each camp includes internal team competitions, encouraging leadership, teamwork and healthy competition, with fun prizes to keep players motivated throughout the day.
Our aim is to create an environment where players are challenged, supported, and inspired - helping them grow in confidence, fitness and game understanding while enjoying every moment of the camp experience.
Sessions run regardless of the weather. If conditions are poor, we move seamlessly to our tactical hockey programme, including video analysis, hockey rules, and more... ensuring a full day of high-quality coaching with no cancellations
Performance Camps are aimed at players in years 7-9 & 10-13 who have a performance mindset and are committed to taking their game to the next level.
Different themed camps will run during each school holiday, including:
- International Camps, comprising technical instruction led by elite coaches such as M1s Coach Barry Middleton and supported by international players, and an afternoon of match play to implement skills learnt
- Technical & Specialist Camps to help develop skills and techniques with specialist guidance
- Playing Under Pressure and other camps to help you deliver your best performances when it counts
