Men's 1s Set for EHL KO8 in the Netherlands

31st March 2026

By Surbiton HC

The Surbiton Men's 1s have travelled to the Netherlands for their Euro Hockey League tournament, with a big KO8 fixture against Spanish side Club de Campo de Madrid on Thursday.

The Men's 1s arrive at HC Den Bosch in fine form, having continued their 100% domestic winning streak for the 25/26 season with four Phase 2 wins since the resumption of Premier Division hockey earlier in March.

The KO8 match against Club de Campo is a repeat of last season's ranking match, which the M1 won 3-2 on shoot out having drawn 2-2 in normal time. The match potentially precedes a mouthwatering semi final clash against local rivals Old Georgians should the other English side in the competition beat Belgian club Gantoise in the other KO8 match on the same side of the draw.
