M1 Start Super 6s Promotion Campaign This Weekend

Surbiton Men start their campaign to win promotion back to the Super 6s Premier Division this weekend when they take part in the Division One round robin competition.
Surbiton were relegated from the Premier Division last season, but will aim to finish in the top two of the nine team division after two weekends of intense action at two separate venues.
The first weekend's fixtures will be staged at Nottingham Trent University this weekend before the teams relocate to the University of the West of England in Bristol next weekend.
As with the Men's Hockey League Premier Division Phase Two which starts in March, Surbiton's first opponents in Nottingham will be Oxted at 12.30 on Saturday. Surbiton will take on Repton in their second game of the opening day at 16.30.
On Sunday, Surbiton have an early start at 0900 against Exeter University, followed by another encounter with a club from the South West, Ashmoor at 1400. Ashmoor were relegated from the Premier Division along with Surbiton in 2024. Ashmoor won 3-0 last season.
Next weekend in Bristol, Surbiton start against Beeston at 1430 on Saturday before closing the third day at 1830 against Bowdon, who were promoted from Division Two in 2024.
The fourth and final day of competition sees Surbiton play Surbiton meet Brooklands Manchester University at 1000 with their final game against Guildford, who were also promoted from Division Two last season, taking place at 1600.
