London T2 & T3 Finals for SHC GU14 and GU16

Four of our junior girls sides completed their seasons with London Tier 2 and 3 Finals on Sunday afternoon.
The Swans and Ospreys found themselves on opposite sides of the semi final draw in the GU14 Tier 2 competition, also played at Teddington, with the Ospreys beating Wimbledon 10-1 to reach the final and the Swans losing out to Blackheath (3-1). The Swans were defeated 5-1 by Wimbledon in their bronze medal match, but the Ospreys continued their winning form to take the GU14 T2 title with a 3-1 win over Blackheath.
The Girls U14 Sparrows played Richmond in the London T3 Finals, hosted at Surbiton. They started the day in fine form with a 6-0 win to qualify for the final. They had a close match against Spencer in the final, and won the T3 title on penalty flicks!
The Girls U16 Rangers headed to Teddington for their London T2 final. They were defeated 5-1 by Sunbury & Walton Hawks in the semi finals at Teddington and fought hard but ultimately lost 4-2 to West Herts in the 3rd/4th playoff.
Big congratulations to the GU14 Ospreys and GU14 Sparrows on their respective titles, and well done to the Rangers and the Swans on qualifying for the Finals day!
