Happy New Year one and all. Hopefully you had a well deserved rest of the Christmas break and are now raring to go again for the second half of the season.
Saturday’s Match Teas Schedule
11.30am: L9 vs OC (tbc)
12pm: B2H & Jokers vs Purley
1pm: M3A vs HAC Gunners
1.30pm: Magnets vs OKs
2.30pm: L7 vs OKs
3pm: M5 vs Merton
4pm: L4 vs Eastcote
4.30pm: Sparks vs OKs
5.30pm: Sparticans vs Epsom
DISPLAY YOUR ART IN THE FUNCTION ROOM: It would be lovely to brighten up the newly decorated function room, so if we have any budding artists who would like to display their masterpieces, please feel free to drop me a line and it can be used as a shop window for you.
DARTS, POOL & GAMES: Surbiton Oche Club is now a thing, bring your arrows down and let's get some teams going. The pool table is also due to arrive this week - tokens can be purchased from the bar @ £1 a game. We also have a chess set and packs of cards but if you have any favourite board games that you are happy to pass on please feel free to bring them in and we can get some games nights up and running.
VACANCIES FOR STAFF: The clubhouse is now getting very busy with events so we need to recruit some more people both behind the bar and in the Snack Shack, there are opportunities for all ages but experience would be preferred.
CLUBHOUSE HIRE & EVENTS: If you are thinking of holding a party please get in touch in advance as we are now pretty much booked up until the end of May. Whilst we have a few daytime bookings for the function room there are still lots of opportunities for other users so please help us spread the word.
MEN'S HOCKEY WORLD CUP: Matches will be shown on BT Sport in the clubhouse. See below for the match schedule (please note game times in the match schedule are GMT +5.5 hours.
