Our popular Bring a Friend Day is back one month today!
What is Bring a Friend Day?
Free hockey taster sessions for non-members (and current SHC members who bring a non-member friend along). It’s a great opportunity to try out hockey, get to know the club, learn skills and have fun with our fantastic team of coaches.
What age groups is Bring a Friend Day open to and what are the timings?
Bring a Friend Day takes place on Sunday 14th August. We are running sessions for 3 age groups (these refer to your child’s age/school year as of September 2022):
- Mixed Under 8s (Years 1-3): 11am-12.30pm
- Girls & Boys U10 (Years 4-5): 12-1.30pm
- Girls & Boys U12 (Years 6-7): 11am-12.30pm
Do players need any special equipment to take part?
- All players must wear mouth guards, shin pads and suitable sports clothing (e.g. shorts, t-shirt, trainers). Don’t forget sun cream and a water bottle!
- We can lend a hockey stick to anyone who doesn’t have their own
- We will be selling ‘click in’ mouth guards from the SHC Clubhouse on the day (card payments only)

Bring a Friend Day is free to attend, but you must register online in advance.
