Successful Inaugural SHC Ladies Day
By Surbiton HC
On Sunday 23rd February the inaugural Ladies day was held at the club.
We were delighted to welcome around 40 ladies to an afternoon tea and it was lovely to see so many familiar faces at the club. After enjoying sandwiches, cakes and a good catch up, many of the guests went out to cheer on the Ladies 1s in their Premier League match against Holcombe.
A message from Club Captain Carolyn Llewellyn:
"Thank you to all those who supported the day - it was wonderful to see so many current and former members partake in a delicious afternoon tea. Thanks to all those involved in making the day happen."
Many people were kind enough to make donations on the day, meaning we were able to raise £125 towards Cardiac Risk in the Young, one of the club's charities who we support in memory of Emma Broad. Thank you to all who donated.
