EuroHockey League To Be Held in Amsterdam

Earlier this week, Amsterdam's Wagener Stadium was announced as the venue for the EHL Final8 at Easter 2020.

Our Men's 1s and Ladies 1s will make history over the competition weekend in April. This season marks the first Women's EHL, with Surbiton the only club to have qualified teams for both the men's and women's editions.

Surbiton L1 open their 2019/20 European campaign against German side Der Club an der Alster 17.00 (CET) on Thursday 9th April. This is a repeat of their quarter final in last season's EHCC competition and Surbiton will fight hard to avenge their 4-0 defeat to the eventual bronze medalists. A semi final against Club de Campo de Madrid or Pegasus awaits the winner.

Having performed so well to beat Real Club de Polo and Dinamo Kazan in October's EHL opening rounds, the Men's 1s have a tough Final8 encounter against Dutch powerhouses Bloemendaal to look forward to at 19.15 (CET) on Thursday 9th April, with the winners to face SV Kampong or Royal Leopold HC in the semi final two days later.
