Surbiton Men have had three players selected for the Men’s Hockey League Team of the Season for 2016-17.

Goalkeeper Harry Gibson, David Goodfield and divisional top scorer, Alan Forsyth, who finished the regular season with 20 goals and was named as the Player of the Season, were all voted for by their peers.

Elsewhere in the MHL, Matt Daly, who started the league season at Surbiton before joining Teddington where he finished up as the divisional top scorer, also with 20 goals, was named in the Conference East Team of the Season.

Surbiton legend, James Tindall, now helping Old Georgians in the Conference West, was also named in that divisional Team of the Season as well as ending up with 23 goals to top the scoring charts and selected as the Player of the Season.

It is a testament to Surbiton Hockey Club that three of the divisional top scorers either play for Surbiton or are former Surbiton players.
