Surbiton Hockey Club is pleased to announce that Surbiton Flyerz, a disability hockey programme which makes hockey available to all via inclusive sessions is launched today.

The programme will be run by Surbiton Hockey Club in association with St. John’s School and Access Sport. The sessions are free, fun, friendly, supportive and relaxed and are open to anyone from 5 years old to 99 years young regardless of their disability and ability.

Families and siblings are also welcome to come along and join in.

The programme is being sponsored by DeCyber, Surbiton Men’s first team shirt sponsors.

Jo Brown, Surbiton HC Sponsorship Manager said, “Surbiton HC is proud to announce DeCyber as the main sponsor for our new Flyerz programme. At Surbiton, we have always welcomed players of any ability and we hope that Surbiton Flyerz will encourage more people to give hockey a try and show that disability needn’t be a barrier to playing sport.

Jonathon Lane, Owner of DeCyber said, “Surbiton’s Flyerz programme is a fantastic, inclusive outlet for people with all kinds of disabilities to enjoy team activity, and DeCyber is delighted to support it.
