SHC Community, formerly Suburban Hockey, has launched its EHCC Community Programme for Primary Schools.

The aims of the programme include:
Introduce hockey into local state primary and high schools
Provide top class coaching for all the kids engaged with the programme
To develop a thriving ‘hockey culture’ within the schools by coaching in a charismatic and enthusiastic way
To build a sustainable programme which continues to engage these schools in hockey for years to come
To build the community programme and branch out to other schools in the local area
In phase two we will design a local league where teams will have regular fixtures in the summer

The programme includes:
Curriculum Time Coaching Sessions: A 6 week coaching programme during curriculum time
EHCC Community League: Organise regular fixtures against other local primary schools on the programme

Other benefits of the programme includes:
Option to participate in FREE weekly after-school SHC Community sessions at the home of the EHCC
Each participating school will receive unlimited FREE tickets to the afternoon session of the EHCC on Thursday 17th May watching the best clubs in Europe
Entry into a draw to become player mascots at the EHCC
Potential guest visit by a Surbiton Ladies 1st Team Player or International Player
