Surbiton’s Luke Noblett’s Australian Capital Territory squad lost their second match in the Australian Hockey League, when they went down 3-2 to Northern Territory in Perth on Saturday.
Noblett was in ACT’s starting line-up but but although they came from 1-0 down to lead 2-1, Northern Territory struck twice to claim the 3-2 win and their first victory of the tournament.
ACT take on Western Australia on Sunday.
Meanwhile in the Women’s competition, former Surbiton player Naomi Evans saw her ACT squad suffer a similar fate as they went down 2-0 to a New Zealand Development Squad on Saturday, Evans, like Noblett was in ACT’s starting line-up.
ACT’s next women’s match is on Monday against Queensland.
