On Sunday 26th March, Sugden Road hosts its final Men’s Hockey League Premier Division regular season match as local rivals and reigning champions, Wimbledon make the short journey to take on our Men’s 1st XI in what should prove to be an exciting local derby!

With Wimbledon already guaranteed to finish top of the MHL Premier Division table and a place in next season’s Euro Hockey League and with Surbiton also having booked their place in the end of season playoffs, both teams will be eager to continue their preparation for the Championships over the weekend of 22-23 April at Lee Valley.

Therefore, Surbiton HC would like to invite its club members, Wimbledon supporters and all Hockey Family members to watch the game and attend evening events to commemorate the end of another national league regular season.

Admission for both the game and evening events combined is only £5. The gates open at 12 noon, and last orders in the bar will be at 10 pm. After the match finishes, there will be live music in the hall.

We would be delighted to see as many members of the hockey community as possible join us for our first annual Sunday Fun Day and bring the curtain down on an excellent and entertaining regular season of national league hockey.
