Surbiton Men’s Lewis Prosser was a member of the Welsh team which won two games, drawn one and lost one of their four matches to finish top of a Three Team Tournament in Benalmadena in Spain.

Wales (World Ranked 24) faced the United States (WR 26) and Brazil (WR 27). Prosser shared the captaincy duties with Luke Hawker, captaining his country in both matches against the United States.

Wales took a while to find their form, going down 3-1 to the United States before drawing 4-4 with Brazil. A 4-0 win over the USA in their penultimate match followed by a 3-1 win over Brazil in their last game, put Wales on top of the table with Brazil to play the United States in the last match of the tournament on Sunday 3 February.

Wales finished with seven points, a point ahead of the United States and three ahead of Brazil.
