Surbiton Men’s Nick Parkes captained Scotland to a 2-1 victory in Walcz against Poland on Friday in the first of two test matches.

Surbiton’s Tim Atkins joined Parkes in the Scottish starting lineup as Scotland led 1-0 at half time, Callum McKenzie of Cardiff & Met scoring from open play in the 26th minute.

Mikolaj Gumny equalised in the 52nd minute from a penalty corner, but Scotland quickly restored their lead in the same minute, Hampstead & Westminster’s Kyle White scoring the winning goal from open play.

The second match takes place on Saturday at 4 pm BST.
