After Sunday’s round of fixtures, Surbiton Men hold a one point lead over second placed Beeston, with a game in hand.

Surbiton’s game on Saturday night at Reading was postponed due to ice on the pitch, and Beeston took full advantage beating bottom club, Canterbury 6-3 in Nottingham.

Wimbledon moved to within five points of Surbiton and leapfrogged Reading into third place with a 4-1 home win over East Grinstead.

Holcombe beat Hampstead and Westminster 3-2 to boost their hopes of snatching a top four finish.

Sevenoaks and Canterbury look to be battling against automatic relegation and the place in the promotion tournament after Brooklands Manchester University took a huge step towards avoiding the bottom two places with an 8-4 win over Sevenoaks.

Surbiton host Holcombe on Saturday (3 March) at 6 pm, following Surbiton Ladies match at 4 pm, also against Holcombe.
