Surbiton’s Gareth Furlong, Robert Mugridge and Lewis Prosser have all been included in the Welsh squad to compete in the EuroHockey Championships II in Glasgow from 6-12 August.
Wales, who will be captained by Prosser are in Pool B and will face the Czech Republic, Russia and Switzerland.
Pool A consists of France, Portugal, Scotland and Ukraine.
The top two in each pool qualify for the semi-finals with the finalists gaining promotion to the top flight edition for 2019.
The bottom two in each pool play in Pool C, which is a round-robin relegation pool, the bottom two teams relegated to level III.
In Pool C, each team plays the two teams they haven’t already played, and carry forward their result against the team they have already played in either Pool A or Pool B.
Wales drew their three match series against Austria last weekend, drawing the first match 3-3, winning the second game 4-3 before losing the third match 5-3.
Wales are next due to play Poland in a three match series in Walcz with games on 28, 29 and 30 July.
